Electricity Industry Act 2010

Miscellaneous - Amendments to other enactments - Amendments to Commerce Act 1986

150: Meaning of electricity lines services

You could also call this:

“What are electricity lines services and how are they defined in New Zealand?”

This law explains what ‘electricity lines services’ means. It’s about how electricity is moved around New Zealand using power lines. When Transpower does this, it also includes their job as the system operator.

The law also changes some definitions. It updates where you can find the meaning of ‘associate’ and ‘national grid’. These are now in a different law called the Electricity Industry Act 2010.
