The law about electricity is changing. There's a part of the law called 'Purposes' that's being updated. The change is simple: they're taking out one small piece of the law. This piece was called 'paragraph (b)' in a section numbered 1A. By removing this part, the law will be a bit different from before. This change is part of making the electricity rules work better for everyone in New Zealand.
