You could also call this:

“Changes to the Electricity Act: Removing old and unneeded parts”

This part of the law removes several words and sections from the Electricity Act 1992. It’s like erasing parts of a book that are no longer needed.

The law takes away many definitions from the Act. These are words that were explained at the start of the Act, but are not needed anymore. Some of these words include ‘Commission’, ‘community trust’, ‘domestic consumer’, and ‘Transpower’.

The law also removes entire parts of the Act. Part 5 is taken out completely. So is Part 15. It’s like removing whole chapters from a book.

Some specific sections are also removed. Section 62 is taken out. Sections 158A to 158G are removed, along with their headings. It’s like removing specific pages from different parts of the book.

The law also removes a part called ‘Subpart 2 of Part 14’. This is like removing a smaller section within a bigger chapter.

Finally, Section 177 is also removed from the Act.

All these changes are made to update the Electricity Act 1992 and remove parts that are no longer needed or useful.
