When you apply for an exemption under section 44, the Classification Office will tell you about their decision in writing. They will explain why they made that decision. If your exemption is approved, they will also tell you the terms of the exemption. You will be told how long the exemption will last. You will also be told about any conditions that apply to the exemption. The Classification Office will give you this information in a written notice. The notice is an important document that explains the Classification Office's decision about your exemption application made under section 44.
