Illustration for Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993

You commit an offence if you publicly display a restricted publication or poster without following the conditions set by the law, as stated in section 27. You must display these publications and posters according to the rules. If you break these rules, you can be fined. If you are an individual, you can be fined up to $5,000, and if you are a company, you can be fined up to $15,000. Not knowing the rules is not a valid excuse for breaking them. You will still be held responsible if you do not follow the conditions for displaying restricted publications or posters.
