You are dealing with a film that was already being looked at by the Chief Censor or the Board of Review before this law started. This law applies if someone asked the Chief Censor to look at a film under the Films Act 1983 before this law began. The Chief Censor or the Board of Review will send the matter to the Classification Office. You will deal with the matter as if the film was sent to the Classification Office under section 13. The Classification Office will use the rules in this Act, including Parts 4 and 5, to make a decision. The Chief Censor or the Board of Review will send all the information they have about the film to the Classification Office.
