When you get a search warrant under sections 109, 109A, or 109B, some rules from the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 apply. These rules are from Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012, but they do not include sections 118 and 119. This is also subject to sections 115 to 117. You can find more information about Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 on the New Zealand legislation website. The rules from the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 help with search warrants. They are used when a search warrant is issued under the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993.
