144Attorney-General's consent required for private prosecutions of certain publications offences

  1. No private prosecution (as defined in section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011) for an offence against all or any of the provisions of the following sections can be commenced without the Attorney-General's consent:

      1. section 131A (offences relating to possession of objectionable publications and involving knowledge):
