A feasibility permit lasts for 7 years from its start date. You can find out if this time can be extended by looking at section 39. If you apply for a commercial permit, your feasibility permit stays in force until the Minister makes a decision.

If the Minister grants you a commercial permit, your feasibility permit ends the day before the commercial permit starts. This means you do not have both permits at the same time. The feasibility permit stops being valid just before the commercial permit begins.
