152Offence for knowingly providing false information

  1. A person commits an offence if—

  2. they provide, or permit the provision of, false, altered, incomplete, or misleading information to a person performing functions or exercising powers under this Act or the regulations; and
    1. they know that the information is false, altered, incomplete, or misleading.
      1. A person who commits an offence against this section is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $800,000.
