If you are a safety zone officer, you can take action if you think someone is breaking the law. You can stop the master of a ship from entering a safety zone or make them leave one. You can also tell a person to leave a safety zone or not to enter one. If someone is doing something in a safety zone that they are not allowed to do, you can tell them to stop, as per the rules outlined in section 63.

When you are exercising your powers, you can have other people with you to help. These people can also use the powers that you have, such as telling someone to leave a safety zone. You can use these powers if you have a good reason to think that someone is breaking the law, like if they are committing an offence under section 148 or 153.
