If you have a permit, you can ask the Minister to give up all or part of it. You need to tell the Minister which part of the permit area you want to surrender. You also need to say when you want to give it up and explain why if it's soon.

You must explain how you have met or will meet the requirements in section 58 before you give up the permit. This explanation is part of your application to the Minister. The Minister needs this information to consider your application.
