37Registrar-General may supply adoption information to overseas registration authority

  1. The Registrar-General may supply any information recorded in the registry in respect of an adoption to an overseas registration authority if satisfied that—

  2. the authority has the function of recording information relating to births in the State; and
    1. a person who has been adopted in New Zealand was born in the State; and
      1. the authority has requested the information.
