The Registrar-General can only share this information if it is allowed by an agreement. The Registrar-General can share information with the chief executive of a Schedule 2 agency. This can only happen if the information is of a certain type and for a specific purpose. The information must be shared according to an agreement, such as an information matching agreement or an approved information sharing agreement. The Registrar-General must follow the rules in the Privacy Act 2020 when sharing information. You can find these rules in Part 7 of the Privacy Act 2020. The Registrar-General can also enter into an information sharing agreement to share information with other agencies. If the information is restricted, the Registrar-General must follow special rules when sharing it. You can find these rules in sections 107, 108, and 113. The chief executive of an agency can mean different things for different agencies, such as the Government Superannuation Fund Authority or the National Provident Fund.
