57Overseas ceremony attended by New Zealand representative may be notified

  1. A New Zealand representative (as defined in section 2(1) of the Marriage Act 1955) may notify the Registrar-General of a marriage that occurs outside New Zealand and that the New Zealand representative attends by forwarding a duplicate copy of the certificate under section 43(1) of that Act.
