Radiocommunications Act 1989

Acquisitions by operation of law, caveats - Caveats

97: No second caveat may be entered

You could also call this:

"You can't lodge another caveat if you've already had one for the same thing."

Illustration for Radiocommunications Act 1989

You cannot lodge a second caveat about the same management rights or spectrum licence if you have already lodged one that has lapsed or been withdrawn. The Registrar is not allowed to accept a second caveat from you for the same reason and for the same management rights or spectrum licence, unless the High Court says it is okay. You can find more information about changes to this rule in the Radiocommunications Amendment Act 2000.
