You have to pay money if you are registered as a manager for a frequency. You pay the Secretary either an annual levy or a certain amount of money. The annual levy is calculated according to section 158, or the amount is calculated according to section 159. You also have to pay any fees for your registration. These fees are set by regulations made under section 135. If you have to pay the amount calculated according to section 159, you must pay it by 30 June 1992. If you are registered as a manager for more than one frequency, you only pay for one registration. This is because you were registered as a manager according to section 155.

157Payments for management rights

  1. Where, pursuant to section 155, the incumbent is registered as manager in respect of any frequency, that person shall, in accordance with the election made by that person pursuant to section 156(2), pay to the Secretary, in respect of that person's registration,—

  2. an annual levy calculated in accordance with section 158; or
    1. the amount calculated in accordance with section 159.
      1. The payment or payments required by subsection (1) are in addition to any fees payable in respect of that person's registration under any regulations made under section 135.

      2. The payment required by subsection (1)(b) shall be payable on 30 June 1992.

      3. Where, pursuant to section 155, the incumbent is registered as manager in respect of 2 or more frequencies, the payment or payments required by subsection (1) shall be payable in respect of 1 registration only.
