You can commit an offence if you wilfully insult or obstruct the Tribunal or its members, witnesses, or officers during a sitting. You can also commit an offence if you insult or obstruct people attending a Tribunal sitting. You must follow the Tribunal's orders and behave properly during a sitting. If you commit an offence, you may be fined up to $1,000. The Tribunal can exclude you from a sitting if your behaviour is not acceptable. An officer of the Tribunal or a constable can take steps to enforce this exclusion. The Tribunal has the power to make these decisions under the Tribunals Powers and Procedures Legislation Act 2018. You must obey the Tribunal's orders and behave properly during a sitting to avoid committing an offence. The Tribunal's rules are in place to ensure everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
