When you apply to incorporate a society, the Registrar must do a few things as soon as possible. The Registrar enters your society's name in the register with other important information. The Registrar also issues a certificate of incorporation and registers your society's constitution. The Registrar does this if your application is complete and proper. This process is affected by other parts of the law, such as sections 8 and 11 to 13. You can find more information about how this law has changed over time by looking at older versions, such as the 1986 law.
