155Fraudulent use or destruction of property
An officer, a member, or an employee of a society commits an offence if they—
- fraudulently take or apply property of the society for—
- their own use or benefit; or
- a use or purpose other than the use or purpose of the society; or
- the use or benefit of a person other than the society; or
- their own use or benefit; or
- fraudulently conceal or destroy property of the society.
A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years, a fine not exceeding $200,000, or both.
