156Falsification of register, records, or documents
An officer, a member, or an employee of a society commits an offence if, with intent to defraud or deceive a person, they—
- destroy, part with, mutilate, alter, or falsify any register, record, or document required by this Act or the society’s constitution; or
- make a false entry in any register, record, or document required by this Act or the society’s constitution.
A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years, a fine not exceeding $200,000, or both.
