The purpose of the register is to help you find out information about societies. You can use the register to determine if an entity is a society under this Act. You can also use it to find out about a society's activities and purposes. The register helps you learn about a society's officers and how to contact them. It also assists people when they are using their powers or doing their jobs under this Act. This includes helping people follow other legislation as well. The register is useful for you to get the information you need about societies.
