You can vote in different ways if your society's constitution allows it. You might be able to vote by proxy, which means someone votes for you. You can also cast a postal vote or vote by electronic means. If the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 requires or permits you to vote on something, like changing your society's constitution under section 30, you can use these voting methods. The society's constitution must permit these voting methods. You can find more information about voting procedures in section 26(1)(k). You can use one or more of these voting methods if your society's constitution says you can. This means you have options for how you vote. Your society's constitution is like a set of rules that guides how your society works.
