The Registrar can give directions to help with liquidating or removing a society. You need to know the Registrar has the power to make decisions about the society's assets. The Registrar can give directions to help pay the society's debts and distribute any leftover assets. The Registrar can also give directions to help someone carry out their duties. This includes giving someone the power to do what is necessary to complete the liquidation or removal process. The Registrar's directions can help with paying costs, debts, and liabilities. The Registrar's directions are important for facilitating the distribution of the society's surplus assets. You can find more information about the Registrar's powers in section 215(1)(a), 216, or 224. The Registrar's directions can help with the overall process of liquidating or removing a society.
