The Registrar can share information with the Charities Act chief executive. You can think of the Charities Act chief executive as the person in charge of charities under the Charities Act 2005. The Registrar can share information that will help the Charities Act chief executive do their job. The Registrar can use information given to them by the Charities Act chief executive. This information can help the Registrar do their job under this Act or other laws, like the Companies Act 1993, the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008, and the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. This means the Registrar and the Charities Act chief executive can work together. This section is important and applies even if other contracts or documents say something different. It also does not limit the Privacy Act 2020.
