You can ask a society for information they have at any time. You need to make a written request and say what information you want. The society will then decide what to do with your request. You can get the information from the society if you ask for it. The society might give you the information, or they might ask you to pay for it. They will tell you if they cannot give you the information and why. The society must follow the rules about keeping your information private. These rules are in the Privacy Act 2020. This means the society will keep your information safe and only use it as they should.
