159: Report on findings of review
or “Commissioner may report review findings and recommend changes or cancellation”

You could also call this:

“Minister must present Commissioner's report and Government's response to Parliament”

When the Commissioner gives a report about sharing, accessing, and matching personal information, the relevant Minister has some important tasks to do. You need to understand two main things about this:

The Minister must show the report to the House of Representatives. They have to do this within 5 working days of getting the report from the Commissioner. If Parliament isn’t meeting at that time, the Minister needs to show it as soon as possible when Parliament starts meeting again.

After showing the report, the Minister has another job. They need to make a new report that explains how the Government plans to respond to what the Commissioner said. The Minister must show this new report to the House of Representatives as soon as they can after showing the first report.

These steps help make sure that the government thinks about and responds to what the Commissioner says about personal information.
