Illustration for Privacy Act 2020

When you want to know what information an agency can access about you, there are rules to follow. An agency can look at your identity information if it is allowed to do so for a specific reason. This reason is listed in the second column of Schedule 3 next to the agency's name. The agency can only look at the information held by another agency that is listed in the third column of Schedule 3 next to the first agency's name. This means the agency can access your identity information from a specific holder agency for a particular purpose.
