208Consultation
The Commissioner may at any time consult any of the following persons about any matter relating to the functions of the Commissioner under this Act:
- an Ombudsman:
- the Health and Disability Commissioner:
- the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security:
- the Independent Police Conduct Authority:
- the Inspector-General of Defence:
- the chief executive within the meaning of section 5 of the Customer and Product Data Act 2025.
For the purpose of consulting a person specified in subsection (1), the Commissioner may disclose to that person any information that the Commissioner considers necessary.
This section overrides section 206(1).
