208Consultation

  1. The Commissioner may at any time consult any of the following persons about any matter relating to the functions of the Commissioner under this Act:

  2. an Ombudsman:
    1. the Health and Disability Commissioner:
      1. the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security:
        1. the Independent Police Conduct Authority:
          1. the Inspector-General of Defence:
            1. the chief executive within the meaning of section 5 of the Customer and Product Data Act 2025.
              1. For the purpose of consulting a person specified in subsection (1), the Commissioner may disclose to that person any information that the Commissioner considers necessary.

              2. This section overrides section 206(1).
