Notifiable privacy breaches and compliance notices - Compliance notices

126: Agency response to compliance notice

You could also call this:

“How an agency must respond when it receives a compliance notice”

If you receive a compliance notice, you must follow its instructions. This includes doing any specific things the notice tells you to do.

You need to act on the notice as quickly as you can after you get it, unless someone has cancelled or paused it. If the notice says you’ve done something wrong, you must fix it by the date given in the notice. However, this date might change.
