You have rights under the Victims' Rights Act 2002. This applies when you are a victim and this Part of the Act is about you. It includes sections 40 to 45 about choosing someone to get notices for you and section 46 about how notices are given. You can look at the Victims’ Rights Act 2002 to learn more. Some words in these sections have different meanings in this Act. For example, notices under sections 34 to 39 of the Victims’ Rights Act 2002 mean notices under sections 198J to 198N of this Act. Other changes are made to these sections so they fit with this Act. You can read about sections 40 to 45 and section 46 to understand more. These sections help you know how notices are given and who can get them for you.
