53False statements on appointment or enlistment

  1. Every person commits an offence, and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, who, if having become and remaining subject to this Act, at or before the time of his appointment or enlistment to any part of the Armed Forces—

  2. knowingly gave a false answer to any question set out in a document required to be completed in connection with his appointment or enlistment; or
    1. knowingly gave any false information or document in connection with his appointment or enlistment.
