This includes people employed by the New Zealand Government in certain roles. You can be subject to this Act if you work for organisations connected to the Navy, Army, or Air Force. This also applies to your family if you live with them or are about to live with them, as stated in clauses 1 to 4 and clause 7 or clause 8.

Persons serving outside New Zealand, or otherwise employed, in such capacities connected with the Navy, the Army, or the Air Force as are specified for the purposes of this schedule by Defence Force Orders, being persons serving or employed under His Majesty’s Government in New Zealand.

    Persons who are employed by, or in the service of, any naval, army, or air force organisation so specified to which His Majesty’s Government in New Zealand is a party and are employed by or in the service of that organisation by reason of that Government being a party thereto.

      Persons belonging to or employed by any other organisation so specified which operates in connection with the Navy, the Army, or the Air Force.

        Persons who, for the purposes of their profession or employment, are attached to or accompany any part of the Navy, the Army, or the Air Force, pursuant to an authorisation granted by or on behalf of the Chief of Defence Force.
