The Summary Appeal Court usually sits in open court, but it can sit in private if section 138 or section 139 says it can. You can find the Summary Appeal Court in any place the Judge Advocate General chooses, in New Zealand or somewhere else. The court can also hold its meetings by teleconference or other means of communication that let people take part. The court can move its meetings from time to time and from one place to another. When the court holds meetings by teleconference or other means, it must follow the rules.
