Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002

Powers in relation to transition periods

94O: Person exercising emergency powers to provide proof of identity

You could also call this:

"People with special emergency powers must show ID and explain their role"

If you are given special emergency powers, you must carry proof of who you are and show it if someone asks. You must also be able to explain why you have these powers and what you can do with them if someone asks. This is so people know you are allowed to be doing what you are doing.
