5Act binds the Crown

  1. This Act binds the Crown.

  2. However, except as expressly provided in this Act, nothing in this Act applies to—

  3. any defence area; or
    1. any defence fire brigade; or
      1. any member of the New Zealand Defence Force within any defence area.
        1. Despite subsection (2), an agreement made under this Act may expressly provide for the Act to apply to any area, brigade, or person listed in that subsection.
