You can find out how Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) and the Ministry of Education work together. They make a plan called a memorandum of understanding. This plan is about how they work on things like fire safety in schools. You can see this plan in the Gazette, which is like a newspaper for official notices. The Gazette might print the whole plan or just a brief description of it. If it's just a description, it will tell you where you can find the full plan. FENZ and the Ministry of Education make this plan to work together on fire safety education and other important things. They want to make sure schools are safe from fires. They also want to teach people about fire safety.
