19Appointments to local advisory committees
For the purposes of appointing the chairperson, deputy chairperson, and members of a local advisory committee, the board must have regard to—
- the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to FENZ’s main and additional functions specified in sections 11 and 12; and
- relevant community and stakeholder needs within the local area; and
- the extent to which the members are representative of the local area’s communities and stakeholders; and
- the diversity of perspectives on each committee; and
- the interests of industry brigades operating within the boundaries of the local advisory committee; and
- any prescribed requirements for local advisory committees specified in regulations made under section 188.
