Illustration for Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017

You get an identity card if you are a FENZ inspector. The card has your name and says you are a FENZ inspector. It may also have other information on it. When a FENZ inspector is doing their job, they must show their identity card if someone asks. This is so you can check who they are. If someone stops being a FENZ inspector, they must give their identity card back as soon as possible.
