You can organise and maintain a group of people to help in emergencies at industrial premises. You can do this if you are the owner or occupier of the premises, or if you are in charge of the land. You can also appoint a principal officer to be in charge of the group. You might be wondering who can do this - it includes the owner or occupier of industrial premises, forestry land, or any local authority. It also includes any person who is in charge of land under any enactment. You can find more information about this in section 70. Some words have special meanings in this section - for example, "forestry land" means land where trees are grown to produce timber. "Industrial premises" includes land, buildings, and movable property used for industrial or commercial purposes, but not for residential purposes. "Residential purpose" means using a building as a place to live.
