The Governor-General can make rules about how local advisory committees work. You need to know what these rules cover, such as meeting notices and membership changes. The rules are made with the Minister's recommendation. The Governor-General's rules can also cover things like how members are chosen, what happens at meetings, and how policies are developed. You can find out more about what these rules are and how they are published by looking at the Legislation Act 2019, Part 3. These rules are called secondary legislation.
