You need to know that FENZ has a job to develop a way to resolve disputes. This way to resolve disputes is for matters under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017 or regulations made under it. Some disputes are excluded from this, such as employment disputes that can be dealt with under the Employment Relations Act 2000. You should look at what disputes are excluded, like those about offences under the Act. Disputes about a Minister's functions are also excluded, as are disputes about Part 3 and those specified under section 180(1)(c). FENZ must develop this dispute resolution scheme for the included disputes.
