The purpose of the land title register is to give you a public record of land under the Land Transfer Act 2017. This record includes information about who owns the land and other details about the land. You can use the register to create, transfer, and deal with land ownership in a way that is secure and cannot be easily changed. The register helps you to follow the rules of the Land Transfer Act 2017. It also helps you to comply with other laws that affect land ownership. This means you can be sure that land ownership is recorded correctly and in line with the law. You can use the register to find out who owns a piece of land and what interests they have in it. The register is an important tool for managing land ownership in New Zealand. It provides a clear and public record of land ownership, which helps to prevent disputes and ensure that land is transferred securely.
