Illustration for Land Transfer Act 2017

The Registrar can decide what a document should look like when you deposit a plan under section 224. You have to use the form the Registrar specifies for a consent, approval, certificate, or other matter under the Land Transfer Act. The Registrar must publish the specified form on a website. The Registrar's form can be different from a form prescribed by regulations. If a form is specified for a consent or approval, you can use that form or follow the rules of another enactment. A specified form for a plan deposit must include information about the plan and the person's approval or consent. A specified form can be electronic, but it must not be registered under the Land Transfer Act. The Registrar's specification of a form is like a standard set under section 236(2). You can find the specified form on a website maintained by the department.
