Illustration for Land Transfer Act 2017

You are an adjoining owner with an interest in an access strip, but you are not making an application. You can choose to give up your interest in the access strip to the people making the application. The people making the application must include your consent with their application. You can find more information about this by looking at s 89B. If you give up your interest, it will belong to the people making the application. If you do not give up your interest, it will still belong to you. Your interest in the access strip must be described correctly when you give your consent. This is so everyone knows what is happening with the access strip.
