You can register or note an instrument if you follow the rules of this Act and other laws. The person lodging the instrument must comply with the requirements, and the instrument must be in the correct form. When you register or note an instrument, it gets a unique identifier in the register. You make registration or notation official when a unique identifier is recorded. The instrument becomes part of the register when it is registered or noted. This is how the registration or notation process works for you.
