163Duration of planning consent

  1. The duration of a planning consent must be determined in accordance with this section.

  2. The maximum period for which any of the following planning consents may be granted is 35 years from the date of commencement of the permit:

  3. a planning consent for an activity that meets the requirements of a wastewater environmental performance standard or a stormwater environmental performance standard:
    1. a planning consent for a wastewater treatment plant that meets the requirements of an infrastructure design solution.
      1. The maximum period for which any other planning consent may be granted is unlimited.

      2. This section is subject to section 165 (lapsing of consents).
