Illustration for Planning Bill

The chief executive can collect data from you if you do things under this Act. They can collect data to help the system work better. This includes data about how the system is working and how digital tools are being used. The chief executive can decide how and when you give them the data. They can also say how often you need to give them the same data. If you are a person or group working with a local authority, you are considered an entity. This also includes designating authorities and independent hearings panels. You will need to provide the data in the way the chief executive says. This will help them make sure the system is working well. The data will be used to support things like strategic reviews and independent reviews. It will also be used to help with digital platforms and tools.
