194Delegation of functions etc

  1. A territorial authority may delegate any of its functions, powers, or responsibilities to any committee of the council established under the Local Government Act 2002.

  2. Before a final decision is made approving a plan or change to a plan, a unitary authority may delegate to a local board any of its functions, powers, or responsibilities relating to a matter of local significance, other than the approval of a plan or a change to a plan.

  3. A delegation may be—

  4. made on the terms and conditions that the territorial authority thinks fit; and
    1. revoked at any time by notice to the delegate.
