If this bill becomes law, it will change other laws. You will see these changes in Part 1 of Schedule 11 one month after the bill is agreed to. Other changes will happen on different dates. The changes in Part 2 of Schedule 11 will occur on a date chosen by the government. This date will be decided under clause 34(1) of Schedule 1. Some laws will change on a transition date. This date is defined in clause 4(5) of Schedule 1 and is for changes in Parts 3 and 4 of Schedule 11.

294Amendments to other legislation

  1. Amend the legislation specified in Part 1 of Schedule 11 on the date that is 1 month after this Act receives Royal assent.

  2. Amend the legislation specified in Part 2 of Schedule 11 on the date specified by Order in Council under clause 34(1) of Schedule 1.

  3. Amend the legislation specified in Parts 3 and 4 of Schedule 11 on the specified transition date as defined in clause 4(5) of Schedule 1.
